Diamond surgical blades
Diamond has long been known for its exceptional cutting properties and natural hand polished diamond blades have long been available on the market. However, the size is limited by the need to use natural diamond and the shapes are limited by polishing method.
The recent development of large area Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) diamond has removed the size restriction and Mintres BV has a patented industrial process to manufacture ultra-sharp diamond cutting edges in almost any shape.
Mintres does not make mounted diamond blades, rather it functions as an OEM and makes loose blades to the design of customers who then mount them in holders for sale to end users.
